GTA 6 can use the Bully 2 feature canceled, Merca de Insider

According to a plethora of reports, Rockstar Games has given green light Mason 2 at least three different occasions before finally abandoning the project each one of the time. According to the most recent reports, the last canned project was quite ambitious, which can explain why it was inevitably canned. How ambitious, we will never know, but we do know that Rockstar Games was planning to allow players to enter each building, something that you do not even get linear AAA games, let alone the open world games. And if Bully 2 was going to be something like Mason — that is, having a great full open world with a city and a campus — this would have been a lot of work. That said, apparently, Rockstar Games can lift this ambition and function for GTA 6, which would be even more impressive taking into account the size and amount of buildings GTA 6 is likely to have.

The rumor comes through the member of Rockstar Games, TEZ2, who suggests that Bully 2 ambition, at least during this particular iteration was his death, with Rock star hesitating in spending both in a game without the same potential as GTA or Red dead,

They definitely had interesting ideas and a functional vertical cut, but they faced problems with certain mechanics that would require more effort and a great budget for a game that may not be as successful as GTA, said TEZ2 of Mason 2 and its cancellation. Since then, Rock star has spoken about how the tools have improved from GTA V release under rdr2 development and will be improved even lower GTA 6 development as well. Maybe by then, the technology that Rock star would have could solve most of the problems related to Mason 2?

GTA The TEZ2 continued:

The next update, it occurred to me, for GTA 6 would allow us to access the majority, if not all, the buildings or interiors that we could see, but with the similar open world scale that could be expected from an GTA game. The same point of sale, but with a franchise that would definitely sell and, of course, on a larger scale.

Of course, all this should be taken with tweezers. Nothing here is official and everything is subject to change. If there is a game that could achieve such a function on such a large scale, it is likely that GTA 6, since it will have almost unlimited access to resources and some of the industry's best developers.
